Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at these Thule replacement support arms. Now, this is going to be a direct replacement for the support arms for your Omnistor Stir 5200 RV awning. These arms are going to help hold the awning steady when this is rolled out, keeping the fabric supported and preventing sagging or instability. Now, people typically buy this set when their existing arms are bent, worn out, or missing, or if the awning doesn't feel as secure as it used to. Now, since these are factory style replacement parts, they're going to be a great option if you want to restore your awning to how it originally worked without replacing the entire system.
This comes with exactly what you see here. You're going to get these two support arms, which is important because the awning uses one on each side. So if one arm is damaged or worn, it's best to replace both, so everything extends evenly and works smoothly. We're also going to get the hardware that you see here, and these arms are going to match the original equipment in size, fit, and function, which means insulation is going to be straightforward and you're not gonna be sacrificing performance or reliability. So this is going to work with both the motorized and the manual.

New support arms wont lock in extended position. Etrailer wants me to pay for return shipping for defective products they sold to me.
They weren't packed all that well inside of the box they arrive in ... could have used some bubble wrap or just paper of some sort.
They will work but arrived with lots of superficial scratches due to transit and lack of bubble wrap or the like. They function and will match the rest of our 5yro travel trailer, but this could be improved.
Shippers are not know to be gentle which is why packing is required. Our shipment had none at all.
It's the correct factory part, in stock, fast shipping.
It is what i expected. This product could not be found by my RV repair shop.
Part was back ordered they kept me up to date and as soon as it was available it was shipped, installed easily and works great

Replacement arms for Thule awning. The ordering process was easy. The product arrived as promised.
I am however disappointed in the strength of the materials. As an awning support they do absorb some wind and heavy rain. The arms are quite flimsy. When fully extended, the arms should extend inside further to add strength. This is why my original set needed to be replaced.
Product arrived quickly. Contents did not include instructions so I had to dig around on the Lippert web site to find them.
Prompt shipping. The box was taped up very well, but everything inside was good. I would certainly order again.
I want to give you better rating for how fast you shipped it but I however received it very late with damage to pkg and missing parts. The product is average in my opinion not what I expected for $[XX] . Kinda flimsy but haven't used them yet. Waiting on missing parts to give opinion overall but you have so far tried to make it right so Thank you.
Below average because I originally ordered the same item marked "used" with blemishes. Fine, don't care if it has scratches it'll work. Showed up broken. Talked to customer service to see if they'd at least provide me a discount for receiving a miss labeled broken product, and I was at least returning to order one "new" which was on backorder nearly a month. No discount, but did receive new product that seems fine. Just wish they'd have realized they shipped me a poorly described broken product.
